FliteByteFliteByte, is a WiFi In-Flight Entertainment System. It is a low cost solution for airlines to provide WiFi IFE to passengers and is very quick to install and remove at the end of aircraft lease period.
FliteByte consists of just two boxes - Control Unit and Wireless Access Point. The Control Unit is the media streaming server suitable for either FlitePartners or Airlines’ own media to create a passenger In-Flight Entertainment experience. All media resides either on the fixed built-in solid-state hard disk or the removable solid-state hard disk. Airlines can have their own custom interactive In-Flight Magazines complete with videos, commercials and other interactive media.
